Essential Qualifications: As prescribed by UGC & Statutes of Goa University (SC-16) and guidelines of Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) / Government of Goa.
Knowledge of Konkani is Essential; Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.

Essential Requirements:

• For the Post of Asst. Prof. in Computer Science (B.C.A.): The candidate must possess M.Sc. in Computer Science / M.Sc. (I.T.) / M.C.A / M.E. (Computer Engineering) / M.Tech. (Computer Tech.) / M.Sc. (Electronics) with 55% or its equivalent grade.
• For the Post of Asst. Prof. in Commerce (BCA and M.Com.) Mathematics, English, Hindi & Konkani: A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
• For the Post of Asst. Prof. in Environmental Studies (B.C.A./B.B.A. & B.B.A.(T&T): The candidate must possess Post Graduation in Physical, Biological and Earth Sciences including Geography with 55% or its equivalent grade.
• For the Post of Asst. Prof. in Management Studies (BBA): The candidate must possess MBA / MMS with specialization in Marketing / Finance / Human Resources with First Class or its equivalent grade.
• For the Post of Asst. Prof. in Management Studies BBA (Travel & Tourism): The candidate must possess MTM / MTA / MBA with specialization in Marketing / Travel & Tourism / Human Resources with First Class or its equivalent grade.
• For the post of Assoc. Prof. in Commerce (M.Com.): A Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). A minimum eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution / Industry and a minimum of 7 publications in the peer - reviewed journals as approved by Goa University from time to time and a total research score of seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II table I of the seven publications at least two should be in Scopus / web of science indexed journals.
• For the Post of Asst. Prof. for Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF): The candidate must possess Master’s degree of Commerce with 55% or equivalent grade.
• For all the above posts the candidates must have NET / SET qualification as per UGC norms and good academic record.
• In case candidates having passed the NET / SET are not available, or are not found suitable, candidates fulfilling all other conditions would be considered for appointment on Contract / Lecture Basis (subject to the approval of the Goa University / Govt. of Goa and / or as per the prevailing guidelines of Goa University / Govt. of Goa).

Service Conditions: As per the provisions of Goa University, University Grants Commission, Govt. of Goa, Diocesan Society of Education and other competent Authorities. Persons who are already employed shall send their applications through proper channel. Break in service, if any, should be accounted for.

Scale of Pay: As per the provisions of the Goa University and Government of Goa.

Vacancies will be filled up, subject to availability of workload and approval of Goa University, Government of Goa and other stipulations. All other regulations / guidelines as those prescribed by UGC, Goa University, Government of Goa and Diocesan Society of Education will apply.
