A major recruitment notification has been released by Shri Bhumika Nursing College, Cuncolim, South Goa, inviting applications for multiple teaching and non-teaching posts on a contract basis for the academic year 2026–2027.

The college is affiliated with Goa University, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and approved by the Government of Goa.

I. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following teaching posts on contract basis for a period of one year for the academic year 2026-2027.

1. PRINCIPAL CUM PROFESSOR – 1 Post
M.Sc (Nursing) having total 15 years experience with M.Sc Nursing out of which 10 years after M.Sc (Nursing) in collegiate program.
Ph.D (Nursing) is Desirable

2. VICE PRINCIPAL – 1 Post
M.Sc (Nursing) having total 12 years experience with M.Sc (Nursing) out of which 10 years teaching experience after M.Sc (Nursing).
Ph.D (Nursing) is desirable

3. PROFESSOR – 1 Post
M.Sc (Nursing) having total 12 years experience with M.Sc Nursing out of which 10 years teaching experience after M.Sc (Nursing).
1- Obstetrics and Gynaecological nursing
Ph.D Nursing is desirable

4. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR – 2 Posts
M.Sc (Nursing) having total 8 years experience with M.Sc Nursing including 5 years teaching experience
1- Medical Surgical Nursing
1- Psychiatric Nursing
Ph.D (Nursing) is desirable

5. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – 5 Posts
M.Sc (Nursing) with total 3 years teaching experience
2- Medical Surgical Nursing
2- Community Health Nursing
1- Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing
Ph.D Nursing is Desirable

6. TUTOR – 16 Posts
M.Sc (Nursing) preferable, B.Sc (Nursing) / PB B.Sc (Nursing) with 1 year experience for B.Sc Nursing Programme
M.Sc (Nursing)
2- Paediatric Nursing
1- Psychiatric Nursing
1- Obstetrics and Gynaecological (Nursing)
12- B.Sc Nursing (Tutor)

B.Sc (Nursing) with total 1 year clinical/Teaching experience

II. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the below mentioned Non-Teaching post in the Nursing Department on contract basis for a period of one year for the academic year 2026-2027.

1. Librarian – 1 Post

Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science (MLISc)

For all the above posts:

• Applicants should Compulsorily produce valid 15 years Residence Certificate in Goa.
• Knowledge of Konkani is essential. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.
• Age limit shall not exceed 45 years for Assistant Professor and Tutor posts.
• Age limit shall not exceed 50 years for Principal, Professor and Associate Professor.
• Attractive salary as per norms based on experience & credentials of teachers.

1. Assistant Professor in English – Lecture Basis – 1
2. Assistant Professor in Anatomy – Lecture Basis – 1
3. Assistant Professor in Physiology – Lecture Basis – 1
4. Assistant Professor in Sociology – Lecture Basis – 1
5. Assistant Professor in Psychology – Lecture Basis – 1
6. Assistant Professor in Biochemistry – Lecture Basis – 1
7. Assistant Professor in Nutrition and Dietetics – Lecture Basis – 1
8. Assistant Professor in Computer / Health Informatics & Technology – Lecture Basis – 1
9. Assistant Professor in Microbiology – Lecture Basis – 1
10. Assistant Professor in Pharmacology – Lecture Basis – 1
11. Assistant Professor in Pathology – Lecture Basis – 1
12. Assistant Professor in Genetics – Lecture Basis – 1

13. Assistant Professor in Physical Education – Lecture Basis – 1

#The above teachers should have postgraduate qualification with Teaching experience in respective discipline.
