Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet either condition A or B
to qualify for selection, alongside mandatory local requirements:
Criterion A
- Master's
Degree: A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the
concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian or accredited foreign
university. (A 5% relaxation is applicable to candidates belonging to
reserved categories as per University statutes).
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case ma

Instructions for Interview Day
Candidates must adhere strictly to the following venue
regulations:
- Venue:
Council Hall, Administrative Block, Goa University.
- Registration
Time: Candidates should register their names at the office of the
Assistant Registrar (Teaching), Administrative Office, Goa University half
an hour before the scheduled time of the interview.
- Application
Format: Application on plain paper addressed to the Registrar, Goa
University, with a bio-data.
- Documents
Required: Submit self-attested copies of valid caste certificates,
valid residence certificates, and certificates pertaining to educational
qualifications at the time of registration. Candidates shall produce
original certificates for verification during the interview.
- Financials:
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates; they must present themselves at
their own expenses.
Note: In case a candidate from a reserved category is not available, candidates from the General category will be considered for a shorter period of appointment. Crucially, if selected, the appointee shall have no claim whatsoever for any permanent post due to this temporary contract arrangement.
