Educational Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum 55% marks at Bachelor and Master Degree or its equivalent grade and a good academic record except for post 2 & 3 who require 60%.
2. Candidates applying for the above posts should have passed the Eligibility test for Lecturers conducted by the UGC/CSIR such as NET/SET or similar test accredited by the UGC.
3. In case candidates having passed said eligibility tests are not available or are not found suitable, candidates fulfilling other conditions would be considered for appointment on purely temporary basis till the end of the academic year.
4. Candidates must have the Master's Degree as well as Bachelor's Degree in the same subject for which he/she has passed the post graduate examination under the change of faculty scheme.
Candidates must possess 15 years residence in Goa.
5. All other requirements as prescribed by UGC, Goa University and Govt. of Goa.
6. Eligibility for the Post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN COMPUTER APPLICATIONS : MSc in Computer Science/MSc (IT), MCA/ME (Computer Engineering), M Tech (Computer Technology), M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering).
7. Eligibility for the Post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN MASS COMMUNICATION AND JOURNALISM: :MA/MS (Media/Journalism/Mass Communication)

1. Eligibility for the Post of LABORATORY ASSISTANT
• Degree in Computer Science/IT/BCA from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Candidates having experience of handling tools and stores, experience in the field of computer programming, hardware maintenance in IT Laboratory will be preferred.
• At least one year working experience.

2. Eligibility for the Post of LOWER DIVISION CLERK
• Possessing Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
• Should be computer literate.
• At least one year working experience.

3. Eligibility for the Post of MULTI-TASKING STAFF
• Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution or Passed course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant trade, from a recognized Institution.
• Applicant having Multi-Tasking skills such as knowledge of operating office machines including computers.
• At least one year working experience.

Mandatory Requirements:
• Certificate of 15 Years Residence in Goa
• Knowledge of Konkani is essential, Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.
