General Information & Instruction
Application form in the prescribed format is available below, to be sent along with attested copies of certificates, Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (in case of UR Candidates) and recent passport size photograph by Speed Post. The Application Form without enclosure of self-certified supported documents / testimonials shall be treated as invalid. The last date to receive the complete application is 17.04.2026 by 5.00 pm. Incomplete and applications received after the due date will be rejected. The Institute will not be responsible for postal delays. The competent authority reserves the right to fill or not to fill vacancy or to re-advertise the post without giving any reason.
It is mandatory that typing speed should be mentioned on the English Typing certificate duly signed and stamped by the competent authority.
Application Processing Fee: Application processing fee of Rs. 1000/- (Non-Refundable in any circumstances) per candidate in the form of DEMAND DRAFT favouring ‘Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition - Goa’ payable at Porvorim should be attached along with the Application Form. ST Candidates are exempted.
Candidates who are working in Govt./Semi. Govt./Quasi Govt./Autonomous Body, etc., should apply “Through Proper Channel” or produce “NOC” from their present employer at the time of document verification and, that no vigilance/disciplinary case is either pending or contemplated against the applicant and she/he is clear from vigilance/discipline angle and her/his integrity is certified.
Relaxation of Age : Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of ST candidates as specified by the Govt. of India from Time to Time. Candidates applying under the reserved category (ST) will be considered subject to submission of Valid Caste Certificate in a prescribed format issued by the competent authority.
Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for ST candidates must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the Notice and as per the instructions issued by the Govt. of India. They should also be in possession of the Certificates in the prescribed format of Govt. of India in support of their claim.

The process of Selection will be on the basis of Skill Test Norms on Computer and Written Test. Candidates who score 35% and above in the Skill Test Norms on Computer will qualify to appear for the Written Test. The Date of the Skill Test Norms on Computers /Written Test will be intimated later, on the Institute’s website.
Verification of Documents: The certificates/documents/caste certificate of shortlisted/provisionally selected candidates will be verified and the schedule for the same will be intimated on the Institute’s website www.ihmgoa.gov.in. The shortlisted /provisionally selected candidates must bring Original Certificates of all Essential and Desirable Qualifications/Caste Certificate, along with one set of self-attested photocopy of:
a. Photo ID proof (Pan Card / Aadhaar Card/Driving licence)
b. Certificate showing the Date of Birth. (Birth Certificate / School Leaving Certificate)
c. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority applied under ST category,
d. Experience Certificate, if any.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing for the Skill Test Norms on Computer/ Written Test.
The above posts carry usual allowance as admissible under Central Govt.
