Applications stating full name, address, age with date of birth, educational qualifications (from S.S.C. onwards) with marks and percentages secured, Caste Certificate, Residence Certificate and Experience Certificates are invited from Indian Nationals for the following teaching posts for the academic year 2025-2026 within 7 days from the date of Advertisement:

Eligibility Criteria

i. For the post at sr.no. A (BBA): First class Masters Degree in Business Management/ Administration in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/ accredited by the AICTE/ UGC.

ii. For the post at sr.no B -1(BCA): The candidate must possess M.Sc. in Computer Science/ M.Sc.(IT)/ MCA/ ME(Computer Engineering)/ M.Teach.(Computer Tech.)/ M.Sc. (Electronics)

iii. A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

iv. A relaxation of 5% at the graduate and master’s level shall be provided for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-creamy Layer categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

v. However, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 as incorporated in the relevant Goa University Ordinance, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities / Colleges / Institutions.

vi. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not available.

vii. A relaxation of 5% shall be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September, 1991.

viii. Valid 15 years of Residence in Goa.

ix. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.

PAY SCALE & SERVICE CONDITIONS:

Scale of Pay, terms & conditions of service are those laid down by the Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education and other competent authorities from time to time.

Incomplete applications will be rejected outright.
