CSIR-NIO Goa Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview for Technician & Graduate Apprentice Posts
The CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR-NIO),
Dona Paula, Goa, functioning under the Council of Scientific and
Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of
India, has released an official notification inviting eligible candidates
to undergo Apprenticeship Training at its Headquarters in Goa.
Candidates possessing Diploma in Engineering or Non-Engineering
Graduate Degrees can attend the Walk-in Interview scheduled on 06 July
2026. The apprenticeship training will be conducted under the Apprentices
Act, 1961 for a period of one year.

must be awarded by a State Technical Education Board, University or
recognized Institution.
For Graduate Apprentices:

Bachelor's Degree (Non-Engineering).
- Degree
should be obtained from a recognized University or Institution.
Eligibility Conditions
Candidates should carefully ensure that they satisfy all
eligibility requirements before attending the interview.
Eligible candidates are those who:
- Passed
the qualifying examination during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Have
registered on the NATS Apprenticeship Portal.
- Have
not undergone apprenticeship training earlier in CSIR or any other
organization.
- Do
not possess one year or more of work experience.
- Hold
regular full-time qualifications only.

NATS Registration
Candidates must register themselves on the National
Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal before appearing for the
interview https://nats.education.gov.in/
After successful registration, an Enrollment ID will
be generated. This Enrollment Number must be mentioned in the application form
during the walk-in interview process.
Candidates without NATS registration may not be considered
for apprenticeship selection.

The selection process will primarily consist of:

Important Conditions
Candidates should note the following important points:
- Apprenticeship
training is purely temporary.
- Selection
does not guarantee future employment in CSIR-NIO.
- Hostel
accommodation will not be provided.
- Selected
apprentices must make their own stay arrangements.
- Apprentices
completing training will receive the National Apprenticeship Certificate
issued through the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/BOAT as
applicable.
- Any
false information or forged documents will result in cancellation of
candidature.
- Canvassing
in any form will lead to immediate disqualification.
