Essential Educational Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Yoga Therapist post must fulfill
any one of the following educational criteria:
Option 1
- Degree
in Yoga or Yoga & Naturopathy from a recognized university.
- Minimum
55% marks.
- Two
years of experience in Yoga Therapy in a reputed institute or hospital.
OR
Option 2
- Graduate
degree from a recognized university.
- Diploma
in Yoga after graduation.
- Minimum
one-year duration diploma from a recognized university or institute.
- Minimum
55% marks.
- Practical
experience in Yoga in a reputed Yoga institute, hospital, or similar field
for five years.
Additional Requirements
Applicants should also possess:
- Level II (Therapy Level) Certificate from YCB.
- Demonstrated
skills in Yogic practices.
- Candidates
may be required to undergo a skill test.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates having:
- Experience
in traditional Yoga Therapy from reputed institutions, hospitals, or
national institutes.
- Knowledge
of computer operations.
- Working
knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit languages.
- Experience
in research projects related to Yoga Therapy or case studies.
- Good
communication and fluency in English.

Duration of Appointment
The selected candidate will initially be appointed for a
period of six months. Depending upon project requirements and
satisfactory performance, the tenure may be extended further at the discretion

purely contractual and project-based. The engagement will automatically
conclude upon completion of the project, and no claim for permanent appointment
or regularization shall be entertained.
