Educational Qualification

For Lower Division Clerk

• Essential:

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board or Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  2. Knowledge of Computer applications/operations with typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.

  3. Knowledge of Konkani.

  4. Valid OBC certificate.

  Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of Marathi.

  2. Valid Employment Exchange registration card issued by the Employment Exchange.

  3. Age limit: 18 to 45 years as on date of application. (Relaxable for Government servants up to 5 years) (Relaxable for OBC up to 3 years)

  4. Experience: “At least One Year working Experience” as an apprentice under the Apprentices Act or (b) in a Government Department/Organization/Office/Institute; or (c) in semi-Government Organization/Office/Institute; or d) in a factory/Company; or e) in any other private Establishment where not less than 05 persons are employed.

For Multi Tasking Staff

• Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution or Passed Course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant trade, from a recognized Institution.
• Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

1. Knowledge of Marathi.
2. Multi-tasking skills such as knowledge of operating office machines including computers.
3. Valid Employment Exchange registration card issued by the Employment Exchange.
4. Age limit: 18 to 45 years as on date of application. (Relaxable for Government servants up to 5 years)

For the above posts, 15 years residential certificate in Goa and knowledge of Konkani is essential and knowledge of Marathi is desirable. Scale of Pay and other service conditions are as prescribed by Government of Goa and Goa University.

Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18 to 45 years as on the date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
