The Public Works Department (PWD) Labour Supply Society, Altinho-Panaji, Goa, has issued an advertisement inviting applications for various Skilled, Semi-Skilled, and Unskilled worker posts. The recruitment will be carried out through daily wages and selection by interview. Eligible candidates who fulfill the required qualifications and experience criteria can apply within the prescribed dates.
According to the notification issued by the Office of the Chairman, P.W.D. Labour Supply Society, applications are invited for deployment in various divisions of the Public Works Department and the Department of Drinking Water in the State of Goa.
Details of Vacancies
A total of 351 posts have been advertised under different categories.
Skilled Category – 121 Posts
i) Work Assistant – 71 Posts
- Candidates should possess SSC or equivalent qualification.
- Practical experience of work at site.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
ii) Electrician – 27 Posts
- Applicants must possess ITI Certificate or equivalent in the trade of Electrician/Wireman along with 3 years experience in the trade.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
iii) Plumber – 23 Posts
- Candidates should possess ITI Certificate or equivalent in Plumbing or Fitter trade. OR
- A valid PWD License in Plumber/Fitter trade and 3 years experience in the line are required.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
The wages for Skilled category workers are Rs. 672 per day including (Rs.523/- + Rs.149/- VDA)
Semi-Skilled Category – 60 Posts
i)Supervisor – 60 Posts
- Applicants should have passed Middle Class or equivalent and must possess 3 years experience of supervision of work at site.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
The wages for Semi-Skilled category workers are Rs. 617 per day including Rs.468/- +Rs.149/- VDA)
Unskilled Category – 170 Posts
i) Helper – 31 Posts
- Candidates should be literate.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
ii) Sweeper – 23 Posts
- Applicants should be literate.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
iii) Watchman – 30 Posts
- Candidates should be literate.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
iv) Pump Attendant – 43 Posts
- Applicants should have passed Middle Class or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
v) Peon – 43 Posts
- Candidates should have passed Middle Class or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
The wages for Unskilled category workers are Rs. 556 per day including Rs. 407/- + Rs. 149/-VDA)
Age Limit
The age of the applicant should not exceed 45 years as on 08/06/2026, which is the closing date for submission of applications.
Application Procedure
Candidates must submit the prescribed application along with photocopies of Birth Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, Experience Certificate, Certificate of 15 years residence in Goa, and self-attested recent passport size photograph.
