Pay Scale and Salary Structure

Administration / Culinary Arts / Culinary Science with a minimum of 55%
marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from:

institute affiliated to NCHMCT OR NCHMCT itself.
- An
Institute approved by AICTE.
- An
Institute approved by the State Board of Technical Education.
- An
Institute affiliated to a University duly recognized by UGC.
- A
Central / State / Deemed to be University recognized by UGC.
- An
equivalent degree/diploma of a foreign university/institution recognized
by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Mandatory
Requirement: Candidate must have qualified the NHTET (National
Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test) with the prescribed percentage
conducted by NCHMCT.
- Note on PhD holders: Candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree in Hospitality-related subjects from a recognized University / Institute after achieving the above-prescribed qualification need not qualify NHTET.

Category B
- Primary
Degree: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality / Hotel
Administration / Hotel Management / Culinary Art from a recognized
University / Institute securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate.
- Experience:
At least 2 years of hospitality industry experience.
- Mandatory
Requirement: Must have qualified the NHTET with the prescribed
percentage conducted by NCHMCT.
3. Desirable Qualifications
While not strictly mandatory, possessing the following will
give candidates an edge during screening:
- A
Ph.D. Degree.
- Six
months of working experience in a 3-star or above category hotel.
Crucial Clause on Teaching Experience: The period of
service rendered as a teacher at the UG (Undergraduate) level and above in
Hospitality on a contract basis (full-time) shall be reckoned as valid
experience for the above purpose.
Selection Process
- The
recruitment process will follow a direct recruitment track.

final process of selection will be strictly based on a Skill Test
to be conducted by IHM Goa as prescribed by NCHMCT.
