Goa Waste Management Corporation (GWMC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Interns to undertake a field survey on waste generation and management practices across the State of Goa.

Educational Qualification
Candidates possessing any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
- Degree from a recognised University in any other stream
- Diploma in Engineering
- Candidates who have appeared for final year examinations and are awaiting results may also apply.
Scope of Work
Selected interns will be required to:
- Conduct field surveys of salons, chicken and similar establishments
- Collect data such as contact number, location and details of establishments
- Assess type and quantity of waste generated
- Assist in mapping and documentation for scientific waste management planning
Remuneration
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 10,000/-
- Travelling Allowance: Rs. 200/- per day for fieldwork
General Conditions
- Engagement is purely temporary for the specified duration.
- The internship does not confer any right for permanent employment.
- Selected candidates must be willing to undertake extensive fieldwork.
