II. PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT

A. Goa Dental College and Hospital

1.Lecturer

  • Pedodontics (1 OBC), 

  • Orthodontics (1 UR), 

  • Community Dentistry/Public Health Dentistry:(3)1-UR, 1-OBC, 1-ST).

  • Pay Scale: Level-11 

  • Age: Max 45 years.

  • Essential: 

  • (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948(16 of 1948). 

  • (ii) Post-graduate qualification in a concerned speciality of Dentistry from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. 

  • (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. 

  • (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. 

  • Desirable: 

  • (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Institution. 

  • (ii) Three years teaching experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Institution. 

  • (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

B. Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB)

1. Psychiatrist

  • Essential: 
  • i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Central Act 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Central Act 102 of 1956). 
  • (ii) Post-graduate degree/Diploma in Psychiatry as recognised by the Medical Council of India or equivalent . 
  • (iii) At least two years experience in the concerned speciality as Junior Resident 
  • (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. 
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
2. Clinical Psychologist
  • Vacancies: 02 (1-UR, 1-OBC)

  • Pay Scale: Level-11 

  • Age: Max 45 years.

  • Essential: 

  • i) Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent 

  • (ii) Master of Philosophy(Clinical Psychology) or Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology(Two Years Course) from a recognised University/Institution or equivalent. 

  • (iii) Two Years experience of working in the field of Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology including psychological testing and Counselling. 

  • (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. 

  • Desirable:

  • (i) Doctorate in the concerned field from a recognised University or equivalent 

  • (ii)Knowledge of Marathi.


III. TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING DEPARTMENT

1. Dy. Town Planner

  • Vacancies: 02 (Unreserved)

  • Pay Scale: Level-10 | Age: Max 45 years.

  • Essential: (i) Degree in Regional/Town Planning from a recognised University/Institution or equivalent. 

  • (ii) 2 years experience in a Planning or architectural office. 

  • (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. 

  • Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 

  • Note 2: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the G.P.S.C. is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. 

  • Desirable: 

  • (i) Associateship of the Institute of Town Planners (India) or equivalent membership of a professional Institution. 

  • (ii) Experience in the preparation of development plans 

  • (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
