Saraswat Education Society’s Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies, located in Mapusa, Goa, has officially released a recruitment advertisement for the academic year 2026–2027. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals to fill up multiple teaching faculties (Assistant Professors) and non-teaching positions (Counsellor) on a Contract and Lecture basis.

The college is hiring for the following positions under the B.Com. stream. Below is the detailed breakdown of the available posts and their nature of employment:

1.  Assistant Professor in Commerce, Management & Accountancy

• Contract Basis: 05 Posts (UR - Unreserved), 01 Post (OBC)
• Lecture Basis: 02 Posts

2. Assistant Professor in Business Economics

• Contract Basis: 01 Post (EOL - Extra Ordinary Leave), 01 Post (Only for the Odd Semester)
• Lecture Basis: 01 Post

3. Assistant Professor in Computer Science

• Lecture Basis: 01 Post (Valid till 7th January 2027)

4. Assistant Professor in Marathi

• Lecture Basis: 01 Post

5.Assistant Professor in Konkani

• Lecture Basis: 01 Post

6. College Counsellor

• Contract Basis: 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

For Assistant Professor Positions (Sr. No. 1 to 5)

• A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
• NET/SET Exemptions:
• Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009 (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) shall be exempted from the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
• NET/SLET/SET is not required for Master’s Programmes in disciplines for which these competitive tests are not conducted.
• Relaxation Provisions:
• A 5% relaxation (from 55% to 50%) at the Graduate and Master’s level is provided for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-creamy Layer categories.
• A 5% relaxation is also provided to Ph.D. degree holders who obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September 1991.

For College Counsellor Position (Sr. No. 6)

• Master in Psychology / Human Development / Master of Arts (Wellness Counselling) from a recognized University or Institution with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
• Desirable Profile: Specialization in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of working experience as a Counselor.

Language & Residency Requirements

To be considered for these appointments in Goa, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

• Knowledge of Konkani: Essential.
• Knowledge of Marathi: Desirable.
• Goa Residence: A valid 15 years of Residence Certificate in Goa is required.

Pay Scale & Selection Policy

• Pay Scale: The scale of pay, terms, and conditions of service are strictly those laid down by the Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), and other competent authorities from time to time.
• Reservation Policy: If suitable reserved category candidates from the State of Goa are unavailable, candidates from the open category will be considered for appointment for one academic year on a Temporary/Contract/Lecture basis. Candidates appointed under this relaxation will hold no legal right or claim on the post for the subsequent year.
