• 1 Assistant Professor (Methodology of Teaching Mathematics)

• 2 Assistant Professor (Education)

Essential Qualifications for the post at Sr. No. 1

1. Post Graduate degree in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks; and

2. M.Ed. degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.

Essential Qualifications for the post at Sr. No. 2

1. Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks; and

2. M.Ed. degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.

   • OR

3. Post Graduate (MA) degree in Education with minimum 55% marks; and

4. B.Ed./B.El.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks.

Additional Requirements:

• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate shall have cleared the NET/SET conducted by UGC.

• Candidates who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in Education in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standard and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the clearing of NET/SET for appointment as Assistant Professor or equivalent position in Universities or College or Institution.

• However, candidates not having cleared NET/SET can also apply.

• Essential requirement: Certificate of 15 years residence in Goa and knowledge of Konkani.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Scale of pay and terms and conditions of service:

As prescribed by NCTE, Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education and other competent authorities as revised from time to time.
