WALK-IN INTERVIEW
The Dean, Goa Medical College, Bambolim-Goa desires to make the appointment of the posts in GMC purely on contract basis/leave vacancy basis.

🔹 Lecturer in Department of ENT – 01 Post
Education and other Qualification Essential:
i) A recognized Medical Qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
ii) Post Graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the specialty concerned from a National Medical Commission (then Medical Council of India) recognized medical college/institution.
iii) At least 03 years experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite post-graduate degree.
Essential: Knowledge of Konkani
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Type of post: Contract basis for an initial period of one year or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 1,20,000/- p.m.
🔹Associate Professor in Department of OBG – 01 PostEducation and other Qualification Essential:
i) A recognized Medical Qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fullfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
ii) Post Graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the specialty concerned from a National Medical Commission recognized medical college/institution.
iii) At least 03 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Assistant Professor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite post-graduate degree.

🔹Consultant in Department of Neurosurgery (Skull Base Unit) – 01 Post
Education and other Qualification Essential:
i) A recognized Medical Qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of The Third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956Holders of Qualifications included in part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in
Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956). ii) Post Graduate degree or equivalent qualification MS/DNB(ENT) in the specialty concerned from a National Medical Commission(then Medical Council of India) from recognized Medical College/Institution.
iii) Fellowship in Endoscopic Skull base Surgery-Anterior and lateral Skull base.
iv) At least three years experience in the concerned specialty in a recognized Medical College/teaching Institution/Corporate Hospital after requisite post graduate degree. The experience of three years should be in the field endoscopic Skull base surgery.

🔹 Casualty Medical Officer – 02 Posts
Qualification:
A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956(Act No. 102 of 1956).
Essential :- Knowledge of Konkani
Desirable: Post –graduate degree or Equivalent qualification in the Speciality concerned from a National Medical Commission(then Medical Council of India) recognized medical college/ institution.
Knowledge of Marathi.
On contract basis for an initial period of one year or till the posts are created on regular basis, whichever is earlier

🔹Tutor/Demonstrator in Department of Physiology – 01 Post
Qualification:
