WALK-IN-INTERVIEW ON CONTRACT BASIS


Directorate of Women and Child Development will conduct Walk-in-interview for the below mentioned purely temporary posts on contract basis under Centrally Sponsored Scheme "Mission Vatsalya" for the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU-North & South), State Adoption Resource Agency (SARA) & State Child Protection Society (SCPS) for a period till 31/03/2027 and extension is subject to approval of the Government. Candidates possessing required qualifications, experience and age criteria may attend walk-in-interview as per the scheduled date and time. (Candidates should register for walk-in-interview as per the scheduled date & time. Registration after scheduled date & time will not be accepted) at O/o the Directorate of Women and Child Development, Old Education Department Bldg., 2nd Floor, 18th June Road, Panaji, Goa along with filled-in prescribed application form and supporting documents of proof of date of birth, qualifications and experience.

1. Programme Officer 

  • No. of Posts: 01 SARA

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 34,755/- per month

  • Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Social Work / Sociology / Child Development / Human Rights / Public Administration / Psychology / Psychiatry / Law / Public Health / Community Resource Management from a recognized University.

    • OR Graduate in the above-mentioned subjects with 2 years' experience in project formulation/implementation, monitoring, and supervision (preferably in Women & Child Development/Social Welfare).

    • Proficiency in Computers.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

  • Interview Date: 27/04/2026

2. Protection Officer (Institutional Care)

  • No. of Posts: 01 (DCPU South)

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 27,804/- per month

  • Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Social Work / Sociology / Child Development / Human Rights / Public Administration / Psychology / Psychiatry / Law / Public Health / Community Resource Management from a recognized University.

    • OR Graduate in the above-mentioned subjects with 2 years' experience in project formulation/implementation, monitoring, and supervision (preferably in Women & Child Development/Social Welfare).

    • Proficiency in Computers.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

  • Interview Date: 28/04/2026

3. Legal cum Probation Officer

  • No. of Posts: 01 (DCPU South)

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 27,804/- per month

  • Qualification: * LL.B from a recognized university.

    • Experience of at least 2 years of working with Govt / NGO / Legal matters, preferably in the field of Women & Child Rights.

    • Good understanding of Women & Child Rights & Protection issues.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

  • Interview Date: 29/04/2026

4. Counselor

  • No. of Posts: 02 (01 DCPU-North & 01 DCPU-South)

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 18,536/- per month

  • Qualification: Graduate in Social Work / Sociology / Psychology / Public Health / Counselling from a recognized university.

    • OR PG Diploma in Counselling and Communication.

    • At least 1 year of working experience with Govt / NGO, preferably in the field of Women & Child Development.

    • Proficiency in Computer.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

5. Social Worker

  • No. of Posts: 01 (DCPU South)

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 18,536/- per month

  • Qualification: Graduate preferably in B.A in Social Work / Sociology / Social Sciences from a recognized university.

    • Weightage for work experience candidates.

    • Proficiency in Computers.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

  • Interview Date: 28/04/2026

  • Registration: 09:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

    • 10:30am onwards interview 


6. Accountant

  • No. of Posts: 01 (DCPU South)

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 18,536/- per month

  • Qualification: Graduate in Commerce degree from a recognized University. Mathematics background is preferred.

    • At least 1 year experience of working in the desired field.

    • Computer skills and command on Tally.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

  • Interview Date: 27/04/2026

  • Registration: 09:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

7. Assistant cum Data Entry Operator

  • No. of Posts: 01 (DCPU South)

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 13,240/- per month

  • Qualification: 12th pass from a recognized Board / Equivalent Board.

    • Weightage for work experience candidates.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

  • Interview Date: 27/04/2026

  • Registration: 02:00 p.m. – 03:00 p.m. (Interview starts at 03:00 p.m.)


8. Outreach Worker

  • No. of Posts: 01 (DCPU South)

  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 10,592/- per month

  • Qualification: 12th pass from a recognized Board / Equivalent Board.

    • Good communication skills.

    • Weightage for work experience candidates.

    • Knowledge of Konkani.

  • Interview Date: 28/04/2026

  • Registration: 02:00 p.m. – 03:00 p.m. (Interview starts at 03:00 p.m.)

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Interested and eligible candidates possessing the essential qualification and experience can appear for walk-in-interview on the scheduled date along with the duly filled in, prescribed application form.

  2. Incomplete applications, application not submitted in prescribed format and application without supportive documents asked for, shall be summarily rejected. Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/field and from a reputed institution/organization recognized by relevant authority.

  3. Separate application should be submitted for each post, if applying for more than one post.

  4. Experience shall be counted from the date of completion of minimum essential educational qualification. Submission of incorrect or false information during the process of walk-in-interview shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.

  5. Age limit: Not exceeding 45 years.

  6. The Directorate of Women and Child Development reserves right to fill up or not to fill up the post advertised.

  7. No benefit of provident fund, Bonus, Gratuity & Leave Travel Concession, etc. will be considered, since the posts are purely on contract basis.

  8. Age limit and experience will be considered as on the date of Walk-in-Interview.

  9. No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the walk-in-interview.

  10. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee selection.

  11. Selected candidates will be granted Leave as per Govt. of Goa guidelines.

  12. Posts are contractual for the duration offered.

  13. The above posts are filled-up purely on contract basis and the candidate will have no right to claim for any type of Permanent Employment under Directorate of Women and Child Development or continuation of his/her services in any other project.

  14. Canvassing and bringing inside or outside influence in any form for short listing and employment will be treated as a disqualification and the candidate will be debarred from selection process.

  15. Those appearing for Walk-In-Interview must bring all original certificates (1) Educational qualification (2) Birth Certificate (3) Experience Certificates, if applicable (4) Computer certificate, if applicable (5) valid 15 years Resident of Goa Certificate issued by Competent Authority (6) Valid Employment Card issued by Competent Authority (7) One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents (8) Candidates should produce all certificates/testimonials in original for verification at the time of walk-in-interview.

  16. The wait list shall lapse on the declaration of the date of a subsequent walk-in-interview for the same category.

  17. Candidates reporting after the scheduled date/time will not be allowed to appear in interview/personal discussion.

  18. The advertisement and prescribed application form is available in the Office of the Directorate of Women and Child Development, 2nd Floor, Old Education Building, 18th June Road, Panaji-Goa.

  19. The decision of the Selection Committee in Selection Process shall be final and binding.

Note:

  1. Interview will be held on the same day after registration and verification of documents.

  2. No candidates will be allowed to enter after scheduled date and time.

  3. If the candidates remain present on the above said date and time for the concerned post and not interviewed the said candidates will be provided slips and will be interviewed as per the convenience of the Department.

  4. Selected candidates shall be required to join immediately. The decision of the interview panel shall be final and binding.
