WALK-IN INTERVIEW ON CONTRACT BASIS

Directorate of Women and Child Development, will conduct Walk-in-interview for the below mentioned purely temporary post to work 24 x 7 hours at Women Helpline under Centrally Sponsored Scheme for a period till 31/03/2027 and extension is subject to approval of the Government. Candidates possessing required qualifications, experience and age criteria may attend walk-in-interview as per the scheduled date and time. (Candidates should register for walk-in-interview as per the scheduled date & time Registration after scheduled date & time will not be accepted) at 0/o the Directorate of Women and Child Development, Old Education Department Bldg. 2nd Floor, 18th June Road, Panaji, Goa alongwith filled-in prescribed application form and supported documents of proof of date of birth, qualifications and experience.

Qualification:

    • Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/ Institution. 
    • Any person having at least 2 years’ experience of working as security personnel in government or reputed organization at the district state level. 
    • He/She should preferably be retired military/para-military personnel.

    • Time:
      • 02:00 pm – 03:00 pm: Registration
      • 03:00 pm onwards: Interview

Terms & Conditions:

1. Interested and eligible candidates possessing the essential qualification and experience can appear for walk-in-interview on the scheduled date along with the duly filled in, prescribed application form (attached)

2.Incomplete applications, application not submitted in prescribed format and application without supportive documents asked for, shall be summarily rejected. Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline field and from a reputed institution/ organization recognized by relevant authority.

3.Experience shall be counted from the date of completion of minimum essential educational qualification. Submission of incorrect or false information during the process of walk-in-interview shall disqualify the candidate at any stage

4.Age limit Not exceeding 45 years

5.The Directorate of Women and Child Development reserves right to fill up or not to fill up the post advertised.

6.No benefit of provident fund, Bonus, Gratuity & Leave Travel Concession, etc. will be considered, since the posts are purely on contract basis

7.Age limit and experience will be considered as on the date of Walk-in-interview

8.No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the walk-in-interview.

9.Mere fulfilling the essential qualification and experience does not guarantee selection

10.Selected candidates will be granted leave as per Govt. of Goa guidelines.

11.Post is contractual for the duration offered

12.The above post is filled-up purely on contract basis and the candidate will have no right to claim for any type of Permanent Employment under Directorate of Women and Child Development or continuation of his/her services in any other project

13.Canvassing and bringing inside or outside influence in any form for short listing and employment will be treated as a disqualification and candidate will be debarred from selection process.

14.Those appearing for Walk-in-Interview must bring all original certificates (1) Educational qualification (2) Birth Certificate (3) Experience Certificates, if applicable (4) Computer certificate, if applicable (5) valid 15 years Resident of Goa Certificate issued by Competent Authority (6) Valid Employment Card issued by Competent Authority (7) One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents (8) Candidates should produce all certificates/testimonials in original for verification at the time of walk-in-interview

15.The wait list shall lapse on the declaration of the date of a subsequent walk-in-interview for the same category.

16.Candidates reporting after the scheduled date/time will not be allowed to appear in interview or personal discussion.

17.The advertisement & prescribed application form is available in the Office of the Directorate of Women and Child Development, 2nd Floor, Old Education Building, 18th June Road, Panaji Goa.

18.The decision of the Selection Committee in Selection Process shall be final and binding


Note:

    1. Interview will be held on the same day after registration and verification of documents.
    2. No candidates will be allowed to enter after scheduled date and time.
    3. If the candidates remain present on the above said date and time for the concerned post and not interviewed the said candidates will be provided slips and will be interviewed as per the convenience of the Department.
    4. Selected candidates shall be required to join immediately. The decision of the interview panel shall be final and binding.
