The Directorate proposes to appoint teaching staff on contract/visiting basis for various Government and Aided Polytechnics in Goa for the academic year 2026–27.
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to attend a Walk-in Interview at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim-Goa on the respective date and time mentioned below.

🎓 Educational Qualifications
For Posts 1, 2, 13 & 14:
First Class Master’s Degree in the relevant subject.
For Posts 3 to 8 & 12:
First Class Master’s Degree OR First Class Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering/Technology/Naval Architecture.
For Post 9:
First Class B.Com OR First Class MBA.
For Post 10 (Garment Technology):
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology/Textile Chemistry of a recognized University /Institution OR
- First Class PG Diploma in Garment Technology OR
- First Class M.Sc. in Clothing/Garment Technology OR
- First class BA/B.Sc/B.Com with First class Diploma (3 years) in Fashion/Garment Technology + 2 years experience OR
- First class Diploma (3 years) in Fashion/Garment Teaching + 4 years experience in Industry/Field/Training
For Post 11:
First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
📌 Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential
- Knowledge of Marathi is desirable
📄 Important Instructions
- The consolidated remuneration paid to lecturers appointed on contract basis and remuneration paid to Lecturers appointed on visiting basis shall be in accordance with Government Rules in force.
- The period of contract will be for max
imum 11 months or till the post is filled on regular bas is, or till the end of academic year 2026-27, whichever is earlier. - The candidates who are eligible and willing to apply under reserved category should clearly indicate the category of the post under which he/she wishes to apply and have to submit attested copy of relevant caste certificate issued by competent authority along with their application.
