For recruitment of School Counsellors and Supervisors under The Mukhyamantri Samupadeshan Yojana, to be placed in High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools (HSS) in Goa, purely on contract basis to provide counselling to the students.

Counsellor Profile:-
Nature of Employment:- Purely on contract basis for 11 months.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Essential:
- Regular Master's degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology/Wellness Counselling/Child Psychology or MSW (Masters in Social Work) with specialization in medical and psychiatric from a recognized University, OR Graduation in psychology (6 units)/Social work/Home Science (HR) from recognized University and Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from recognized University.
- Minimum 6 months experience in working with adolescents.
- Knowledge of Konkani.
- 15 years' residence certificate from Goa issued by competent authority.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Marathi
Age limits: 45 years.
Supervisors Profile:-
Nature of Employment:- Purely on contract basis for 11 months.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Essential:
- Regular Master's degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology/Wellness Counselling/Child Psychology OR MSW (Masters in Social Work) with specialization in medical and psychiatric from the recognized university.
- Minimum 2 yrs. experience in working with adolescents.
- Experience of conducting trainings and workshops.
- Knowledge of Konkani.
- 15 years' residence certificate from Goa issued by competent authority.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Marathi.
- Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from recognized institution.
- MPhil/Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Experience of being a counsellor in a school.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years
In case PwD candidates are not available, same will be selected from amongst other eligible candidates.
Candidates should personally come with application along with original certificates, 02 passport size photographs and 01 set of self attested photocopies of the Educational Qualification Certificates, Experience Certificates, Residence Certificate, Employment Card, Disability Certificate and Caste Certificate in the office of the Goa Education Development Corporation (GEDC), Ground Floor, SCERT Building, Alto-Porvorim.
The last date to submit the applications is 10th April 2026 by 4.30 p.m.
The shortlisted candidates shall be called for a skill test and written test. The dates for the same will be intimated to the eligible candidates.
GEDC may renew the contracts of Supervisors/Counsellors after a short break strictly based on performance which will be assessed by the Counselling Cell constituted by the Board of GEDC.
