Goa State Biodiversity Board Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview for Interns

Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Interns on a contractual basis for 1 year. Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in interview as per the schedule below.

 Educational Qualifications

• Graduate in Life Sciences (Botany / Zoology/Environmental Science/Biotechnology/Agriculture)
• Computer literacy is mandatory
• Proficiency in Local Language Konkani (essential)
• Knowledge of Marathi (Desirable)

• Time: 09:30 am to 11:00 am 
• Venue: Goa State Biodiversity Board, Saligao, Bardez, Goa

📄 Important Instructions

• In accordance to the approval received from the Department of Environment, Govt. of Goa & Chairperson, GSBB. The recruitment of Interns on Contractual Basis at Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB) by walk-in-interview for the filling of above mentioned post for a period of 01 year is scheduled on 16.02.2026 at 09:30 am onwards in the O/o Member Secretary, GSBB, Opp. Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez- Goa. (Candidate should register for interview between 09.30 am to 11:00 am. Registration after 11:00 am will not be accepted). 
• Age Limit – as per Government norms. 

1. Interested candidates may attend the walk-in-interview on 16.02.2026 in the office of O/o Member Secretary, GSBB, Opp. Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez- Goa along with original and photo copies of documents justifying their educational qualifications, birth certificate, 15 years’ valid residence certificate, valid employment card, along with copy of bio-data.
2.  The copies shall be inscribed with the statement “This certificate is true copy of the original” and self-attested below the statement. (Copy of bio-data should be attached with self-attested photocopies of relevant documents and one latest passport size photograph). 
3. Candidates appearing for the interview will not be paid any TA/DA.
4.  Selected candidates shall be required to join immediately. The decision of the interview panel shall be final and binding. After recruitment, if candidate wants to discontinue working, within the minimum notice period of 1 month, one month salary will be forfeited.
5. In case the candidate discontinue to work within 3 months of appointment then the next candidate in the rank as per interview panel may be given opportunity. Beyond 3 months, fresh advertisement will be floated.
