Nirmala institute of Education Assistant Professor in History 2026

 Applications are invited for the following post on lecture basis (CCL leave vacancy) for the even semester of the academic year 2025-2026 as given below:

Post: Assistant Professor in Education (Methodology of Teaching History) 

No of post: 1 (UR)

Nature of post: Lecture basis (CCL vacancy)

Essential qualifications: 

• Post Graduate degree in History with minimum 55% marks and
• M.Ed , degree from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate shall have cleared the NET/SET conducted by UGC. Provided candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D degree in Education in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standard and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the clearing of NET/SET for appointment as Assistant Professor or equivalent position in Universities or College or Institution.

However, candidates not having cleared NET/SET can also apply.

Essential requirement: Certificate of 15 years Residence in Goa and Knowledge of Konkani

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi

Scale of pay and terms and conditions of service: as prescribed by NCTE, Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education and other competent authorities as revised from time to time.

 Applications should be complete in all respects with photograph along with self-certified photocopies of statements of marks of all public examinations from SSC onwards, experience certificates, publications etc.
