Educational Qualification requirement :
• Candidates should have a good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's degree in the relevant subject.
• Candidates for all the above posts must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by UGC/CSIR, or similar tests accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. However, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SET. In case candidates who have passed the said Eligibility Test are not available or are not found suitable, candidates fulfilling all other conditions would be considered for appointment on a purely temporary basis till the end of the academic year.
• All other requirements as prescribed by UGC, Goa University, and Directorate of Higher Education (DHE)
Mandatory Requirements:
• Knowledge of Konkani language
• Valid 15 years of Residence Certificate in Goa
• Desirable requirement: Knowledge of Marathi language.
• Vacancies will be filled up, subject to NOC from Directorate of Higher Education, availability of workload, and approval by Goa University, DHE, and other stipulations.
• SCALE OF PAY, TERMS & SERVICE CONDITIONS: As per the provisions of the UGC, Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education, and other competent authorities.
