Application are invited from the Indian Citizens for the following posts for the Bachelor of Education Programme for the academic year 2021-2022 onwards
1. Name of the post : Assistant Professor of Education

Nature of Post : Full Time Regular
Educational Qualification Requirement :
- Candidate should have Good academic record with a Master’s Degree in Science/ Humanities/ Arts with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
- Candidate should have M.Ed. with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC
- However, candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 as incorporated in the relevant Goa University ordinance shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/ SET
- Candidate should have M.A. in Education with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
- B.Ed. with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC.
- However, candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, as incorporated in the relevant Goa University ordinance shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Note : If the Institute does not get a suitable candidate with the minimum qualification requirement, a eligible candidate will be appointed on ‘contract basis’ with the following qualifications :
- A Master’s Degree in Science / Humanities / Arts with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
- M.Ed. with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
OR
- M.A. in Education with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
- B.Ed. with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
- Goa Domicile certificate of 15 years residence in Goa and Knowledge of Konkani
- Qualifications, Pay Scale, and other service conditions as prescribed by U.G.C., Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Goa, NCTE and other competent authorities and as amended from time to time
The above post will be filled subject to the NOC and approval from the Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Goa, and Academic eligibility from the Goa University and subject to Work Load.
The original application and other enclosures complete in all respect along-with your recent photograph attested copies of the statement of marks of all public examinations, from SSC onwards) experience certificates etc. copies of Aadhar & PAN card,(PPAN & PRAN card, if available) will have to be submitted when informed by the office.
