Candidates are invited for Walk in interview for Assistant Professor post
- Name of the post : Assistant Professor in Economics
Nature of post : On Lecture Basis
Pay and service conditions as prescribed by Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa and other competent authority
Minimum Qualification Requirement :
1. Good academic record (minimum second class at the undergraduate level in the concerned subject) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. For candidates belonging to reserved category relaxation regarding qualifications and age will be granted as per rule in force.
2. Candidates should have cleared the eligibility test NET/SET for Asstt. Prof. conducted by UGC/CSIR/University recognized by UGC. However, candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree Regulation 2009) in the concerned subject as incorporated in relevant Goa University Ordinance shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. In case candidates having passed the said eligibility test or possessing Ph.D. in the concerned subject are not available or not for appointment

Complete applications in all respects along with attested photo copies of mark-sheets of all public examinations from SSC onwards and valid 15 years Residence Certificate (in Goa) issued by a Competent Authority are to be produced along with original documents at the time of interview
Mandatory Requirement :
- 15 years of Residence Certificate in Goa
- Knowledge of Konkani
