Essential Requirement :

• 15 years of Residence Certificate issued by Government of Goa

Desirable :

• Knowledge of Konkani & Marathi

Educational Qualification Requirement :

Vacancies will be filled as per the statute regarding the workload of the Goa University. The above appointments are subject to the availability of workload and approval of Goa University and Government of Goa. 

As per Statute SA-19(vii) (1) (d) 

(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and has secured at least a second class at graduate level, or has secured an average of 50% marks in the previous three examinations. 

(ii) The candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. 

(iii) However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 as incorporated in the relevant Goa University Statute, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. 

• If candidates fulfilling essential qualifications (ii) and (iii) are not available, then candidates fulfilling essential qualifications may be considered for appointment.
  
  
• If candidates of reserved category are not available, then candidates of other categories will be considered for appointment. 
  
  
• Candidates selected will be considered for appointment as per the advertisement during the academic year 2020-21 only and the candidate so appointed will have no legal right or claim on the said post next year. 
  
  
• Pay scale and service conditions shall be as laid down by Goa University/Government of Goa. All other requirements prescribed by UGC/Goa University and Government of Goa shall be applicable. 
  
  
• Application along with copies of statement of marks and passing certificate of all examinations (Self Attested) from SSCE onwards and birth certificate. Candidates belonging to O.B.C Category should enclose Caste Certificate from competent authorities of Government of Goa. 
  
  
• The Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.
